I first started working in the shutter industry around 12 years ago. On my very first job, I helped install shutters on a traditional Victorian bay window, and I saw first-hand the difference they made—not just in style but also in practicality. From that moment, I knew I wanted to specialise in this.
I completed a two-year training programme with one of the UK’s largest shutter suppliers, where I gained in-depth knowledge of shutter design, materials, and installation techniques. Since then, I’ve been dedicated to delivering top-quality shutters fitted to the highest standards.
Myself and Mark oversee every project from start to finish, ensuring each installation is competed to perfection. We also work with a small team of experienced shutter specialists who share my commitment to quality and craftsmanship.
After leaving school in 2001, I’ve always worked in the woodwork trade, working as a joiner and carpenter for many years, which gave me all the skills I needed to design, survey and install shutters to the highest of standards.
I started my window covering career back in 2010 when a customer of mine required tier on tier shutters for a window I was working on as a carpenter replacing some box sash windows.
I have been specialising in shutters for over a decade advising customers on design, surveying, manufacturing and installing premium products.
From 2023 onwards here at Mastercraft shutters we continue to build a business that has the finest reputation across Sussex and Surrey.
With over five years of experience in the shutter industry, I’ve developed a real passion for helping homeowners transform their spaces with beautifully crafted window shutters.
I joined Mastercraft Shutters three years ago and quickly became part of a team that prides itself on attention to detail, expert knowledge, and exceptional customer service. My day-to-day work involves everything from advising on design and layout to surveying and installing premium shutters that are built to last.
